Gastro is the ideal substitute for Digestive. This gentler, lower-potency blend does not contain Protease, and also supplies the benefits of four supportive herbs, including the soothing properties of Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis).

There is no Protease in Gastro. If you have active or bleeding ulcers, you may experience a burning sensation when you take Protease.

Though uncomfortable, this is not a health threat. If taking a formulation that contains Protease that causes a burning sensation, taking 3 or 4 Gastro capsules should reduce the discomfort.
