HAVEN'T WE ALWAYS EATEN WHEAT AND RICE?

It is only in the past 100 years that the problems have been well documented but the problem has been known since biblical times when the majority of bread was made from Wheat Grass (sprouted Wheat) and NOT made from flour.

Wheat seeds may have been processed and eaten 2000 years ago, but only in times of famine and by armies on the move. This then led to health problems when this diet became popular in the cities.

Traditionally all such grains and seeds (even rice) was sprouted. There are 10-20 times more nutrients available in a sprouted plant compared to a processed seed.

To eat processed grains a person would need to put backbreaking work into 10 times more fields just to get the same nutritional benefits if they sprouted the grains. When the grains and seeds are sprouted all of the bad features listed above disappear.

Modern life has made convenience foods easier to grow and infinitely more profitable for the food industry. Therefore year-after-year, processed grains are becoming the mainstay
